Preparing for TOEFL and SAT to study in the USA

Students who wish to study in the US will have to face two tests for sure, one is the TOEFL and the other is the SAT which is for English language proficiency for non native speakers and for college admissions in America, respectively.

International students need to be aware of the things which are different in both these cases, TOEFL and SAT. Before one starts preparing for these tests, it is essential that the similar and different factors are kept in mind.

The one thing students should start off with is building up their vocabulary, and that being a challenge for both the tests, it is important that the students get the correct meaning of the terms used. The TOEFL usually requires lesser knowing of words than if you sit for the SAT.
If you need a good score, make sure you prepare the English words required. Put a lot of effort in learning them effectively. You can often use flashcards when you need to learn many words within a short time.

If it helps, sort words into different categories. One of them can be for the words you know the meaning and need to know how to use them effectively in sentences. And then suppose in another category you have words you need to know how to properly spell them.

The different levels of vocabulary words will help you understand the reading materials well enough, and these help in developing academic writing for students as well as getting a hang of how to speak the words effectively. This helps in increasing one’s vocabulary quickly.

When you are taking the test, go for the TOEFL first. It is easier and focuses on language proficiency and thus if the students understand the language, they will be able to get the questions and their requirements better.

In case of SAT, it requires the students to have a certain logic appliance to predict the answers. If the students do not have a good foundation of English, it will be a problem for them to understand what the question requires for them to do. The exam requires a lot of academic terminology and students have to use reading, logic and writing and mathematics skill as well. These are different than the TOEFL and its systems. So when you are preparing for TOEFL, you can put off preparing for SAT as the usage of words do not necessarily overlap.

#1 Turn the Alarm On!
When we say college life is a mess, it surely is self-explanatory. But, if you look at the bright side, the mess is not chaotic; it is just stuffed with too much assignment worries that, if you sweep in the right direction, may turn up to be pretty productive and can help you in the long run. So, get your jig on for an ideal career prep-up.

#2 Don’t Go Nerd
Let’s face the truth. Finance homework browbeats most management students. If you don’t have serious number skills, your ratio analysis or International Finance Market essay will stink. Now the questions are, are you going to dump your social life to win top marks in your Finance Homework? MBA is not for Nerds, it’s for self-starters! Perfectly balance your career and life to sport that winning reputation in LinkedIn as well as in current school route.

#3 Subjects to Watch Out for
Business Schools Finance essays have the following topics in general. So, these are the stuff you should put your “geek” glass on for. As mentioned before, don’t sacrifice your life for it, but don’t doze off amidst Financial Statement Analysis class lecture. Take extra care on—Corporate Risk and Insurance Management, Hedge Funds, Income Securities Analysis, Portfolio management and Financial Theory. B-schools put more stress on tools and analysis than mere theories. But can you even practise the basic SWOT skills if you don’t know the ABC of organization?

#4 Maintain a Free-Flowing Business Writing Style
Say goodbye to polysyllables. Loud vocabulary doesn’t match the trends of Business school writing. Finance homework should be understandable than erudite and wordy. Retain a comfortable pace and style while writing a Finance essay. Complexity should be shunned with utmost care in your MBA homework, regardless of the academic level.

#5 Ask for Help—Not From the Falafel Guy!
I mean, from relevant, reliable source of course. Be it online Finance assignment tutors, or your course advisor. Make sure you secure a first-class essay with ideal expertise.
